The Penicillen takes months to win the battle. Levels go up and down but at the end of the day nothing is getting past the Penicilen. Its strange dealing with STD units or "Team 5" as they have been re-christened. They don't tell you much . I knew my 3rd monthly blood test was good as they moved me onto Hep B vaccinations which is done over a month. It takes ages , decades even for it to show its presence and months /years to go, 'Team 5" seem to go by how much its gone down month by month and are satisfied the Penicillin is doing its job

Whoever said it goes imto your brain a long time after infection is correct. Problem being you dont know youve got it Blood tests are useless in detecting Neuro Syphilis, Only because i had Hydrocephilus or water on th brain they did lumber punture to remnove spinal fluid and found what I had

I once caught NSU from a one-night stand.
Naturally, I did the decent thing, and told her I'd caught it from her.
I found it really odd that she seemed more angry with me for catching it from her than with whoever had given her it.
It could have easily been something more serious though, and I went suited up until I had a long-standing relationship with anyone in the future.
